Fault Resolution Without Travel
The fastest fault resolution is one that requires no travel. With remote diagnostics via secured VPN, our technicians can analyse your furnace control system directly and in many cases resolve faults without an on-site visit — often within minutes rather than hours.
NTH Therm uses an open, technology-agnostic approach to remote diagnostics: we work with Siemens, Beckhoff, Mitsubishi and other standard control platforms, and are not tied to a single manufacturer’s remote access system.

- Remote diagnostics router (installed during commissioning or retrofitted)

System Monitoring with OEE Software
For customers with the highest availability requirements we offer integration of Evocon OEE software: continuous monitoring of system availability, batch times and process parameters — with alerts on deviations before a stoppage occurs. Analytics run in the browser with no local installation.
The combination of Evocon monitoring and NTH Therm remote diagnostics creates a predictive maintenance architecture: deviations are detected before they cause failures.
Remote Diagnostics for Third-Party Furnaces
For furnaces from other manufacturers we can set up remote diagnostics access provided the furnace control system is network-capable or can be retrofitted. Prerequisites: provision of technical documentation and wiring diagrams for preparation of the remote configuration. For systems without a network connection we assess whether an industrial remote router can be retrofitted.

How does remote diagnostics work technically?
We connect to the furnace control system via a secured VPN connection (Siemens Sinema Remote Connect or equivalent). A prerequisite is internet access at the installation site (LAN or mobile router). The connection is established exclusively on the customer's request. No permanent remote access takes place without authorisation.
What can be resolved remotely, and what cannot?
Remotely resolvable: control errors, incorrect parameter settings, recipe errors, sensor faults (diagnosis and guided correction), software issues, firmware updates. Not remotely resolvable: mechanical failures, heating element or thermocouple failure, physical damage. For these cases we coordinate an on-site visit following remote diagnosis.
Does remote diagnostics work for third-party furnaces?
Yes, for furnaces with Siemens, Beckhoff or Mitsubishi controls we can carry out remote diagnostics provided a VPN connection can be established. For older systems without network capability we assess whether a remote router can be retrofitted.
Can I use remote diagnostics without a service contract?
Yes, remote diagnostics is available as a standalone service without a contract. Maintenance contract customers receive priority and pay reduced hourly rates.
